Position: Full-time Clinical Nurse (RN) in Women's Services

Location: Española, New Mexico

Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the specific age group of the patients on their assigned units. They ensure the delivery of quality, safe, and efficient care, aligned with the unit’s standards. The nurse demonstrates commitment to the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization, maintaining high standards of clinical practice and work habits. Respectful and considerate interaction with staff, physicians, patients, and families is essential.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state
• BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications must be obtained within 6 months

Skills:

• Knowledge appropriate to the patient population served
• Respect for patient rights
• Clear and appropriate communication skills

Experience & Supervision:

• Reports to the Patient Care Director or Manager

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases

• Normal or corrected vision and hearing; manual dexterity required
