HCA Florida Memorial Hospital seeks an experienced Charge Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing care at the Yulee FSER. You will direct staffing, ensure throughput, and coach staff to deliver patient-centered care across a 12-hour day shift.

You must hold an RN license in Florida, possess BLS/ACLS/PALS, and bring ER nursing experience; leadership is preferred to support a quality patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor’s or higher, or completed within 3 years of hire.
• Licensed registered nurse in the practicing state or with an active Compact license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS health care provider certifications.
• Prior ER RN experience required; leadership experience preferred.

• Monitor, direct, and evaluate nursing care on shift per policies.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

TheCharge Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC)ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions at the YuleeFree StandingEmergency Room (FSER)during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, theER CNCdirects, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What you will do in this role:

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff. Recommends and implements courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
• Assists with staff scheduling. Manages all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
• Supports proper inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher is required, or obtained within 3 years of hire/transfer
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Health Care Provider is required
• Prior Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience is required
• Leadership experience is preferred

This is a Full Time,Day Shift position. Shifts are 12 hours in length (approximately 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).

Rotating Weekends and Holidays are required.
