Qualifications

• RN license required and CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Identify quality of care issues and take appropriate actions.
• Educate facility staff on clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Support Directors of Nursing with guidance and supervision.
• Handle admissions and admission evaluations.
• Assist in implementing facility plans of correction.
• Attend required meetings and collaborate with teams.
• Advise on DME, pharmacy, and GDR recommendations.
• Develop and review care plans.

Clinical Nurse Resource

Job Summary

Horizon Post Acute is seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Resource to oversee the clinical operations for our skilled nursing facility in Wichita, KS. As a Clinical Nurse Resource, you will work collaboratively with clinical leadership teams, other resource services team members, and outside consulting firms to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• -Identify quality of care issues and take appropriate actions
• -Educate facility staff in clinical and regulatory issues, as well as facility policies
• -Provide guidance and assistance to Directors of Nursing.
• -Admissions and admission eval completion
• -Assist in writing, implementing, and following through on facility plans of correction
• -Attend required meetings
• -DME, pharmacy and GDR recommendations
• -Care Plans

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Valid CPR certification
• at least 1 year experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Strong clinical skills
• Knowledge and ability to follow regulations, policies, and guidelines
• Ability to provide performance that surpasses resident expectations and foster the highest degree of quality care
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and function effectively as a part of the team
