The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Resident to manage patient outcomes by coordinating and supporting direct patient care in a multidisciplinary setting. This role focuses on quality improvement, education and safe care across the continuum in the G15 Myeloma/Lymphoma unit.
Ideal candidates have BSN, NCLEX, recent clinical rotations, and are available for Day/Evening shifts 7 am–7 pm, with rotating weekends.
The Clinical Nurse Resident at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. They impact quality of patient care, patient outcomes and use of resources in a designated area in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Ideal candidate will have graduated with their BSN in the past 12 months, passed NCLEX, and completed clinical rotation or a PSNE program at MD Anderson. Candidates must be available to work the Day/Evening shift from 7:00am - 7:00m shift, Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays.
G15 Myeloma/Lymphoma is a specialized inpatient unit providing comprehensive care for patients with hematologic malignancies, including multiple myeloma and lymphoma. Nurses on this unit deliver complex therapies, manage side effects, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing would be a plus.

Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).
Certification in oncology or other nursing specialty. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification as required by patient care area.
