Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred.
• Current GA RN license required; BLS certification required.
• Less than 1 year experience; direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation; evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting age, gender, disease and cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside shift reports, rounds and patient teaching; aligns with care goals.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and Wellstar policies.
