Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Basking Ridge, NJ, is seeking an experienced ambulatory infusion nurse to manage a defined caseload of adult and pediatric patients receiving outpatient infusions. You will safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other IV medications while performing comprehensive assessments, symptom management, and patient education.

The role requires RN licensure in New Jersey, ADN/BSN, 1.5 years of RN experience in outpatient infusion, and BLS

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Active New Jersey RN license required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience with outpatient infusion.
• BLS certification required.
• Pediatric infusion experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other IV meds safely.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and symptom management.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure continuity of care across treatment and survivorship.
• Complete structured orientation and training for ambulatory infusion nursing.

Role Overview

• Practice within a Nurse-Physician-based Ambulatory Care Model.
• Manage a defined caseload of adult and pediatric patients receiving outpatient infusions.
• Safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other IV medications.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom management, and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care across treatment, follow-up, and survivorship.
• Support and participate in clinical programs that enhance care coordination and patient experience.
• Complete a structured orientation and training program designed for ambulatory infusion nursing.

Key Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required) Active New Jersey State RN license 1.5 years of RN experience BLS certification
• Outpatient infusion experience Strong IV and vascular access skills Chemotherapy certification and APHON Experience with EPIC electronic medical records Pediatric infusion experience

Additional Information

Location: MSK Basking Ridge - 136 Mountain View Boulevard, Basking Ridge, NJ

Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts flex 6:45am-8pm; Monday - Friday, rotating weekends and holidays
