Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a part-time registered nurse to support orthopedic/spine/post-operative care with a focus on safe recovery and family-centered care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized plans and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing diploma or associate’s degree required.

Provides direct patient care within a specialized inpatient unit focusing on Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, and Plastic Surgery patients. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring safe and effective post-operative recovery.

Responsibilities include promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess patient preferences, values, and barriers, maintaining a focus on holistic care.

Qualifications include an RN license and a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree, with preferred experience of at least 2 years and a Bachelor’s degree. The role emphasizes professional development, leadership, and collaboration.
