Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment within an acute care setting, focusing on surgical, trauma, orthopedic, plastic, and reconstructive procedures.
Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication use.
Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient values and barriers.
Works in a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
