Job summary

Plan A Health in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, with a relationship-based care philosophy focused on patient and family-centered care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs alongside the healthcare team.

This role promotes safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Active RN license is required; minimum Nursing Diploma or ADN, BSN preferred with less than 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and less than 2 years of experience.
• No supervisory experience required, no prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and compliance.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices.
