Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager for Pulmonary Medicine & Medical Oncology at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This is a full-time day shift position with hours varying Monday through Friday.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $48.93 - $75.84. The rate offered depends on candidate's experience and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the 24-hour operation of a designated patient care area, ensuring adherence to budgets, policies, and patient care standards.
  • Develop and implement patient care strategies that are safe, patient-centered, and cost-effective.
  • Lead and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate staffing, oversee patient care delivery, and collaborate with medical staff to optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Participate in budget planning, resource management, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Handle staff performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff development programs.
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience in a healthcare setting
