We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Host Associate. In this role, the successful candidate will operate within the Food and Nutrition Services Department under the direction of Patient Services Management. The Host Associate is responsible for enhancing the quality of care by creating an atmosphere of hospitality throughout the patient's hospital stay.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or higher preferred. Must be fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus. Basic math, grammar, computer, and keyboarding skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and service recovery abilities are necessary for effective interaction with patients, families, staff, and colleagues. Ability to walk to assigned nursing units multiple times daily. Experience with hospital Food Service menu processing is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
