Tampa General Hospital is seeking an experienced RN supervisor to provide clinical and administrative support on a designated unit. Under supervision of the senior nurse manager, you will help oversee daily operations, quality and safety, patient experience and unit finances, and participate in interviews and hiring decisions.

The role requires a Florida RN license, a BSN, and at least two years of RN experience.

Qualifications

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Minimum of two years of experience as an RN required.

Job description

May be called on to deliver nursing care to patients on assigned unit according to established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines. Responsible to assist with daily clinical operations and assists with the quality/safety, patient experience, financial management of the assigned unit. Assists in interviews and makes hiring decisions as required. Assigns work to and participates in the evaluation of the employees supervised. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
