Chateau Dialysis Center, Rochelle Park, NJ, seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager – Dialysis to lead the dialysis program’s clinical operations and staff. This role ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient day-to-day activity.

The candidate will have dialysis leadership experience, strong knowledge of CMS and ESRD standards, and a track record in quality improvement, infection prevention, and documentation management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey is required.
• Minimum 18 months dialysis nursing experience.
• Clinical leadership experience in dialysis settings is required.
• Experience with CMS, ESRD regulations, and quality programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards of care per CMS, ESRD Network, state and federal regulations.
• Oversee licensed nursing and direct patient care staff.
• Prepare and monitor QAPI statistics and corrective action plans.
• Maintain infection control logs and ensure infection prevention standards.
• Manage EQRS and NHSN reporting and dialysis documentation.
• Oversee anemia management and monitor clinical outcomes.
• Prepare staff schedules for appropriate clinical coverage.
• Maintain employee files, competencies, evaluations, and documentation.
• Review water culture results and notify Bio-Medical personnel of positives.
• Lead staff meetings and communicate clinical and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate staff training and continuing education.

Clinical Nurse Manager – Dialysis

Salary: $120,000 annually

Chateau Dialysis Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager – Dialysis to oversee the clinical operations of our dialysis program.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff performance, infection prevention, quality improvement, and efficient day-to-day clinical operations.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced dialysis RN with strong clinical leadership skills and a thorough understanding of dialysis regulations, quality standards, and patient care requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards of care in accordance with CMS, ESRD Network, New Jersey State, and Federal regulations, as well as facility policies.

• Oversee licensed nursing and direct patient care staff.

• Prepare and monitor QAPI statistics, develop corrective action plans, and track performance improvement initiatives.

• Maintain infection control logs and ensure compliance with infection prevention standards.

• Manage EQRS and NHSN reporting and maintain all required dialysis documentation.

• Oversee anemia management and monitor patient clinical outcomes.

• Prepare and maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate clinical coverage.

• Maintain accurate employee files, competencies, evaluations, and required documentation.

• Prepare and maintain Governing Body meeting minutes and related documentation.

• Review water culture results and promptly notify Bio-Medical personnel of any positive cultures.

• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate clinical, regulatory, and operational updates.

• Review patient plans of care, physician orders, and clinical documentation.

• Monitor medication utilization, equipment logs, and required dialysis records.

• Coordinate staff training, competencies, evaluations, and continuing education.

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, Administrator, and interdisciplinary team.

• Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a culture of clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 18 months of dialysis nursing experience.

• At least 12 months of clinical nursing experience.

• At least 12 months of experience providing nursing care to patients receiving maintenance dialysis, including training and experience with the dialysis process.

• Previous Clinical Nurse Manager or dialysis leadership experience required.

• Nursing home or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CMS, ESRD Network, Federal, and New Jersey State regulations.

• Experience with QAPI, infection control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience with EQRS, NHSN, ESRD reporting platforms, and EMR systems preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
