Job summary

Completely Care Recruitment Consultants Ltd is seeking a qualified Clinical Nurse – Learning Disabilities & Quality to join their Quality Team. The role covers supported living services, providing clinical guidance, promoting best practice and ensuring safe, person-centred care.

The post involves developing health care plans, coordinating with GPs and hospitals, leading medication governance and delivering clinical training to staff.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration (RNLD, RGN or RMN).
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or complex health needs.
• Knowledge of medication management and clinical governance.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain person-centred health care plans for individuals with complex health needs.
• Provide clinical advice and support to care teams across multiple services.
• Build effective relationships with GPs, hospitals, community health teams and other healthcare professionals.
• Lead on medication governance, audits, competency assessments and clinical compliance.
• Promote best practice in areas including epilepsy management, nutrition, hydration, mobility and overall wellbeing.
• Monitor changes in individuals' physical and mental health, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Carry out quality audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Deliver coaching, guidance and clinical training to support staff confidence and competence.
