Job summary

Minimum requirements include Virginia RN licensure, 5 years nursing experience, and enrollment in a Master’s degree program within 36 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 5 years nursing experience required.
• Minimum of one year experience in the position’s specialty patient population or practice setting.
• Experience in staff education and professional development.
• Academic health care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; enrollment in a Master’s degree program within 36 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, education, leadership and accountability for program development, implementation and evaluation in area of responsibility.
• Manages human, fiscal and other resources to ensure quality programs/processes/services with measurable positive outcomes.
• Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): Negotiable with immediate supervisor in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
• Will generally work day shift, but may require flexibility for special projects or to meet organization and staff needs.
