Working weekdays full-time, you will partner with the Director of Nursing to implement policies, conduct rounds, mentor staff, and drive quality improvement initiatives across the unit.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership or supervisor experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge in long-term care and nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff including RNs, CNAs, and others.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop policies and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate clinical operations including assessments, care planning, medication management, and treatments.
• Conduct rounds to assess care needs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor staff on clinical best practices and professional development.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss care plans and changes in condition.
• Work with physicians and therapists to optimize resident outcomes.
• Oversee staff evaluations, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions with the DON.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promote safety, quality, and resident-centered care across the facility.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly and compassionately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
