Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Must hold an Associate’s Degree.
• Must have at least one year of experience as a professional RN.
• New graduate RNs or those with less than one year will be referred to the RN Residency Program.
• National certification in a clinical specialty is preferred.
• Bachelor of Nursing Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resumes and administers 5 rights of medication and coordinates care for patients.
• Documents nursing processes in the EMR and participates in interdepartmental care.
• Engages in unit leadership activities and supports shared governance initiatives.
• Plans discharge and contributes to a culture of safety and quality indicators.
