Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• Utilize nursing process to monitor patient status and modify care as needed.
• Advocate for patients, uphold autonomy, ensure informed consent and support self-determination.
• Mentor colleagues to advance nursing practice and the profession.
• Delegate elements of care per laws, regulations, and policies.
• Prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care teams.
• Precept students, nurse extern, nurse resident and other team members.
