Position Overview

We are seeking an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for our Practical Nursing Program. The role involves overseeing PN students during clinical rotations and leading practical skills lab assignments on campus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Engage students with active learning in lab or clinical settings.
2. Assist and supervise students with patient assessments, medication administration, and patient care procedures.
3. Provide clinical instruction at various clinical sites including long-term care, sub-acute, and acute settings.
4. Create a clinical environment that fosters academic growth and professional development.
5. Participate in evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to assess student progress.
6. Submit final grades and related materials promptly.
7. Engage in ongoing continuing education related to teaching and clinical practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current registration as a professional nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
• At least two years of nursing practice experience.
• Prior teaching experience in a Practical Nursing Program preferred.
