Job summary

Requires NC RN license and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes and collaborates with the team.
• Implementation - Delivers competent care for patients with complex needs using nursing standards.
• Leadership - Aids in goal setting and interdepartmental collaboration to improve unit performance.
• Patient Assessment - Assesses patient needs and readiness for discharge planning.
• Planning - Works with patient/family to update the plan of care and coordinates resources.
• Research - Keeps up with journals to inform practice.
