MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg Telemetry on the night shift to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, at least 2 years in Med/Surg or telemetry, proficiency with EMR, and strong critical thinking and communication. Flexibility to float and collaborate with the care team is essential.

Formación

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Med/Surg or telemetry.
• Proficient in using EMR systems.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Willingness to review candidates with a pending state license.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings, responding to changes or emergent situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Document patient progress and care activities in the EMR.
• Float to other units as needed to ensure staffing and care coverage.
