Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida seeks experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry nurses to join our Staffing Resource Office team. This role supports multiple region hospitals and offers assignment options including a Region Core Float Pool.

Location: BayCare Hospitals region. Status: Part Time. Shift: days, 6:45am–7:15pm with weekend rotation. Requirements include RN license, BLS, Associate's degree, 2 years RN Med/Surg/Tele, Cerner EMR preferred, own transportation, Tele test, and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Associate's degree in nursing
• 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation
• Flexibility

Responsibilities

• Float to a region of hospitals based on census needs; all regions are available.
• Support assignment options within the Region Core Float Pool.
• Participate in scheduling and staffing to meet patient needs.

Our Staffing Resource Office Offers a Variety Of Assignment Options Including

• Region Core Float Pool- Part-time. 2x12 hour shifts per week to include 4-weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day.

Required

to float to a region of hospitals based on census needs. All regions are available:
Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals.
Region 2 includes St Joseph's, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and BayCare Wesley Chapel Hospitals.
Region 3 includes Bartow Regional, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.
