Job summary

MaineHealth's Maine Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse II for the R2 unit, a high-paced 37-bed medical telemetry unit focused on adult medical patients, including stroke care. The role emphasizes exceptional nursing practice, teamwork, and patient-family centered care.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in accordance with nursing standards and Maine state regulations. We value collaboration and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current Maine RN license required.
• At least 1 year RN experience; stroke care experience preferred; telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, document nursing care.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and families to ensure patient-centered care.
