UNC Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Rex 7 West/General Surg unit in Raleigh, NC. The role requires an RN license in NC, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. The unit emphasizes patient-centered care, education, and collaboration within a diverse team.

Relocation assistance and an incentive program are available, with a 36-hour work week and night schedule. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after Jan 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years and obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing within seven years.

Responsabilités

• Education: Identifies learning needs and delivers patient education materials.
• Evaluation of Care: Identifies expected outcomes and revises the plan of care with the team.
• Implementation: Manages care of complex patients and prioritizes tasks.
• Leadership: Develops goals to promote professional growth and collaboration.
• Patient Assessment: Interprets data to set care priorities for patients and families.
• Planning: Updates the plan of care with patient/family input and resources.
• Research: Reads journals and shares applicable ideas with staff.
