Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours: 72
Work Shift: Day, 12 hours
Applies nursing process and theories, along with principles of psycho-social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. Strives for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies. Responsible for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under her/his supervision, ensuring care aligns with the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing. Provides care collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient outcomes. All performance aspects support service excellence and a healing environment.
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Experience: Must have recent one (1) year clinical nursing experience in ICU/CCU at LG.
License/Certifications: RN License (California), BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
Effective communication in English, with the ability to perform complex speaking, reading, writing, and math skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate appropriately.
Serves all patients aged one year and older.
$85.14 - $111.21 per hour
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Medium work involving standing most of the shift, lifting up to 35 lbs., sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed unless it causes undue hardship or poses a safety risk.
