DayToDay Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse for a GI/GU surgery unit to provide direct patient care in a 38-bed surgical unit. You will collaborate with renowned surgeons, promote evidence-based ERAS practices, and participate in education for patients and families.

You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while upholding safety and quality standards in a supportive environment that emphasizes professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN license required or pending licensure in Missouri.
• Nursing Diploma/Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; effective communication.

Role Overview

This position is for a Clinical Nurse specializing in GI/GU Surgery, providing direct patient care in a 38-bed surgical unit. Nurses collaborate with renowned surgeons, focusing on evidence-based practices such as Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) to improve patient outcomes. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while promoting patient and family education, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Skills

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred).


• Preferably 2+ years of experience, though entry-level candidates may be considered.
