Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center in Watertown, WI is seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to partner with clinical leaders and education teams to advance staff development.

You will design, implement, and evaluate training programs, coordinate rotations, manage education calendars, and ensure regulatory training and compliance. Must be an RN with a BSN, state license, and 3 years of clinical and teaching experience; travel ~10%.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN degree.
• Current RN license in Wisconsin.
• 3 years of RN experience in a healthcare facility.
• 3 years of healthcare training/education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with hospital leaders to coordinate, develop, and monitor clinical education activities.
• Assesses student affiliations and clinical rotation programs, mandatory training, and education as appropriate.
• Organizes, coordinates, and maintains clinical rotation calendars with affiliated schools.
• Proposes, creates, and conducts training programs as appropriate.
• Produces an education calendar that meets compliance, safety, and organizational training needs.
• Oversees and trains staff on educational software.
• Onboards clinical staff by planning, implementing, and evaluating orientation programs.
• Develops classes based on departmental needs and advances training practices.
• Evaluates course effectiveness and updates curriculum on a continual basis.
