Job summary

The VIOS Clinic is seeking a Nurse Educator/Clinical Instructor to lead nursing student education and caregiver development. You will coordinate clinical experiences and serve as the liaison between the organization and affiliated programs to ensure quality training.

In this role you will support onboarding, hospital training, and ongoing workforce development, contributing to excellence in patient care and adherence to evidence-based practices across clinical teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years clinical experience with Bachelor's degree, or 10 years with an Associate's degree, or 5 years if enrolled in RN to BSN program.
• Current state license and BLS certification, with evidence-based clinical knowledge.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet project goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; audiovisual skills advantageous.
• Knowledge of patient care technology and equipment.

The Nurse Educator/Clinical Instructor is responsible for nursing student education and caregiver development. They serve as the primary liaison between the organization and affiliated nursing programs, coordinating clinical experiences and preceptor assignments. This role also involves supporting caregiver onboarding through orientation and hospital training, contributing to workforce development and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current state license, BLS certification, and clinical knowledge aligned with evidence-based practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet project goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; audiovisual skills advantageous.
• Knowledge of patient care technology and equipment.

Preferred Attributes

• Certification or progress toward certification in related specialties.
• Two years of teaching experience.
• Additional life support certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, among others.
