Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak in San Antonio, TX, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Telemetry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions.

In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors nursing care, serves as a staff resource, and supports an unparalleled patient experience; coaching and training help elevate performance and engagement across the unit.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License in TX or Multi-State Compact.
• 1 year nursing experience required.
• RN Diploma, Bachelor's or Associate degree relevant.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
• 1 year of Nursing experience
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
