Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) RN in Cardiac Stepdown. The CNC delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit functions in partnership with management to monitor nursing care and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, assist with admissions/discharges, and support improved outcomes and service.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN certification/licensure required; Registered Nurse Diploma held
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team
• Assist with admission and discharge processes
• Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.

• Assist with admission and discharge processes.

• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.

• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• Registered Nurse Diploma

• Minimum 1 year experience required
