Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN, accountable to the Nursing Director for clinical and operational functions of an assigned unit. You will manage the unit’s activities in the absence of the Director and support a team committed to excellent patient care through collaboration.

Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care; directing and evaluating nursing care; serving as a resource; and modeling our organizational values to support an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

You will:

  • Manage staff roles on the unit.
  • Coordinate patient placement based on acuity, skill, and staffing.
  • Identify and address educational needs.
  • Lead patient care conferences, including discharge planning.
  • Ensure physician rounds are conducted.
  • Monitor patient condition changes and make clinical decisions.
  • Oversee orders, ensuring they are appropriate and executed timely.

Job Requirements:

  • Florida RN license or approved multistate license (with 60 days to obtain Florida license if relocating).
  • BLS-AHA Provider card within 30 days of start.
  • Preferred: 2 years acute care RN experience.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, RN Diploma, or Associate Degree.
  • ACLS certification (or instructor) within 6 months.
  • PALS certification (or instructor) within 6 months.
  • Neonate Resuscitation certification within 30 days.
