Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and manages unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models the organization’s values to support excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
• Participating in quality assessments of patient care.
• Fostering teamwork and supporting service recovery.
• Engaging in strategies to improve staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
• Recommending and implementing staff training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Managing staff scheduling and inventory control.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certifications within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse license.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
