Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to oversee patient-centered care and coordinate unit activities during daytime shifts. You’ll collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in line with policy and the organization’s mission and values.

You will lead staff, participate in admission/discharge processes, support staffing through scheduling, and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and engagement, while mentoring

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• ENPC within 18 months of start date
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 6 months of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of start date
• PALS within 18 months of start date
• STABLE within 6 months of start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 18 months of start date
• RN is required
• Associate or Bachelor degree required

Responsibilities

• Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and quality care
• Participate in ongoing assessment of nursing care quality in the unit
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed
• Support nursing strategies like hourly rounds to boost engagement
• Provide staffing recommendations and participate in staff training and development
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management
• Support inventory control and equipment management
