Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will serve as the primary decision-maker for clinical and managerial operations during your shift. You may also assume patient care responsibilities as a Registered Nurse.

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Support nursing strategies to improve engagement, including rounding initiatives.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, managing labor costs and patient care needs.
  • Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Continuously assess and improve the quality of nursing care and patient safety.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
  • Handle responsibilities in areas such as quality, safety, patient experience, employee engagement, fiscal responsibility, and staff development.
Requirements

Experience: 1+ year in healthcare.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licenses and Certifications: Active RN license in Texas or eligible for license transfer, ACLS within 90 days, BLS within 30 days, NIH Stroke Scale within 60 months, Trauma Nursing Course within 1 year.
