Endeavor Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN for the Emergency Department at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time, night-shift role supports nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and leads quality improvement initiatives.

Requires a BSN, active IL RN license, AHA CPR, and 2+ years as Charge Nurse in ED; 2 years scheduling experience preferred. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit; ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and high-quality care.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff; manage schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee patient-centered care within the unit; collaborate with health care providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives; participate in audits and corrective actions to improve patient outcomes.
• Efficiently manage unit resources including staffing, supplies, equipment, and budget; monitor expenses while maintaining care standards.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations and hospital policies in the unit.
• Facilitate ongoing education and training for unit staff; stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Oversee documentation of patient assessments and care in the EHR; collaborate with departments to coordinate care.

Hourly Pay Range:

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Clinical Coordinator-Emergency Department-Night

Position Highlights:

• Position: Clinical Coordinator RN - Emergency Department

• Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL

• Full Time, 36 hours/week

• Hours: Night shift(2300-0700); rotating weekends

• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit. Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, safety standards, and the delivery of high-quality care.

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff. Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

• Oversee the delivery of patient-centered care within the unit. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans, address patient inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit. Participate in audits and compliance efforts, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions to improve patient outcomes.

• Efficiently manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, equipment, and budget allocation. Monitor and control expenses while maintaining high care standards.

• Ensure strict adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures, within the unit. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant care environment.

• Facilitate ongoing education and training for unit nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge. Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare and clinical practices.

• Oversee the accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions within the electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with other departments, including physicians, care coordination teams, and ancillary services, to coordinate patient care and enhance the patient experience.

What you will need:

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.

• Current CPR certification for basic life support provider through the American Heart Association. ECRN preferred.

• At least 2 years Charge Nurse experience required in the ED; 2 years scheduling experience preferred. Strong leadership experience preferred
