Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Are you a natural leader at the bedside looking to step into a clinical coordinator role? A well-established medical center in Tennessee is hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for its dynamic and fast-paced Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a great opportunity for experienced charge nurses ready to grow into leadership while continuing to make a direct impact on patient care.

About The Unit

You’ll join a 34-bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit that provides care for a diverse mix of complex patients including those with chest pain awaiting stress tests or cath lab, hypertensive urgency, stroke symptoms (CVA/TIA), altered mental status, sepsis, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a clinical resource and front-line leader on your shift
  • Support staff performance, engagement, and development through coaching and feedback
  • Coordinate admission, discharge, and transitions of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Assist with scheduling and daily staffing coordination
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through consistent oversight and support

Qualifications

  • Current RN licensure in Tennessee or compact state
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Prior experience as a charge nurse is required
