Endeavor Health's Evanston Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Cardiac/Stroke unit. This full‑time role leads daily operations, ensures safe, high‑quality patient care, and may provide direct patient care when needed.

You will mentor staff, guide a team to discharge planning, and drive clinical performance improvement. Requirements: BSN (MSN preferred), IL RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and at least 3 years of relevant experience with management preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
• Current IL RN licensure required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Minimum 3 years’ clinical setting experience; prior management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
• Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
• Would assume direct patient care if necessary
• Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
• Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
• Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
• Takes lead on clinical performance management
