Job summary

HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to monitor nursing care, participate in admissions/discharges, and support performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS certifications within specified timelines, an RN license, and an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license/certification within 60 days of start date.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
