Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the PCICU to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of unit activities during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care while serving as a resource for staff.

The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of acute care RN experience in the designated area, and BLS/PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN acute care experience required in the designated area.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• RN licensure and nursing degree as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care during the shift to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with the management team.
• Serve as a resource person for staff and contribute to unit performance.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

No Travel Required
