Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees unit functions during their shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models the organization’s values to support an outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
• Participate in assessing the quality of care provided in the unit.
• Collaborate with team members to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to enhance engagement, including employee rounding and initiatives.
• Provide recommendations for hiring, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling to meet patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
