As a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) within our commercial organization, you will be a trusted clinical expert responsible for developing relationships and educating Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) involved in patient care with BMS hematology products in a specific region: North of Westchester County, NY.

Incumbents must reside within this region.

  • The primary role is to engage with HCPs to optimize patient outcomes through clinical exchanges, addressing patient identification and management complexities.
  • Deliver clinical education and support aligned with commercial strategies, focusing on patients starting or continuing on BMS hematology and oncology medicines, discussing unmet needs and the current treatment landscape.
  • Develop relationships with oncology Patient Support Groups for patient education presentations.
  • Be recognized as a clinical expert for the portfolio, with responsibilities adaptable based on business needs.

Customer Focus

  • Build and maintain relationships with academic and community HCPs, providing on-label education through various channels.
  • Assess treatment landscapes, understand HCP needs, and utilize available resources effectively.
  • Monitor activities and data to evaluate impact and adapt strategies accordingly.

Provide Clinical Expertise

  • Deliver educational programs, product demonstrations, infusion support, and internal training.
  • Participate in medical congress activities and share insights internally.

Commercial Planning and Execution

  • Contribute to account planning and develop CNC programs aligned with strategies.

Qualifications

  • APP (DNP, APRN, NP, CNS) or MSN or BSN with at least 5 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Nurse Educator experience preferred; current active Nursing License; OCN Certification; deep knowledge of Hematology, Oncology, and Cell Therapy.

  • Strong business acumen, impactful communication, ability to influence patient management, collaboration skills, established HCP relationships, and alignment with BMS values.

Essential Qualifications

  • Frequent travel (50-75%), valid driver’s license, ability to work nights & weekends, compliance with laws and policies.
  • Starting salary range: $145,000-$167,000 plus incentives and stock options, based on experience.
