• Population/Diagnoses: Patients with varying Cardiovascular history including diagnoses of: Post-MI, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, PCI, Heart Failure, Shortness of Breath, Deconditioning.
• Nursing skills gained: Managing medication infusion during and post-stress test.Airway management during and post-Transesophageal Echocardiogram.Effective communication with cardiac fellows and/or attending physicians.
• Unit Successes/Designations/National recognition: ICAEL accredited Echocardiography Lab, including Stress testing, which is RN driven.
• Unit Culture Highlights: Small, close-knit team that work well together through varying workflows. No weekends, holidays, or call.

This position is referral eligible and qualifies for a location differential.

Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
