Job summary

JobRx, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Clinical NICU Pharmacist for a full-time day shift (9:00am–5:30pm). You will perform comprehensive clinical reviews of NICU medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy.

Primary responsibilities include antimicrobial stewardship, renal dose adjustments, anticoagulation monitoring, drug utilization reviews, and collaborating with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Current pharmacist licensure with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive NICU medication order reviews to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Lead antimicrobial stewardship and renal dose adjustments.
• Monitor anticoagulation and perform drug utilization reviews.
• Consult with medical practitioners on medication orders and adverse reactions.

Position Details

• Full-Time Position
• Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm)
• Salary Range: $73.00-$88.19/hour

Job Summary

• NICU/Clinical Pharmacist role in a healthcare facility environment
• Requires comprehensive clinical review of all NICU medication orders to ensure safety and efficacy
• Responsible for core clinical pharmacist responsibilities such as antimicrobial stewardship, renal dose adjustments, and anticoagulation monitoring
• Conducts drug utilization review studies
• Consults with medical practitioners on medication orders, patient reactions, and errors
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by the Director of Pharmacy

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor's degree in pharmacy is required, a Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred
• Must have current pharmacist licensure with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Hospital experience preferred but not required
