  • CPR certification required.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Shift: Description:

CNP Tech - Casual / PRN

The CNP Tech I is responsible for independently performing at least one electroneurodiagnostic test modality, including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, and Nerve Conductions, using recommended guidelines established by ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Inc) and AAET (American Association of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists). They are additionally responsible for patient preparation, education, maintenance of labs, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment. They must report suspected abnormalities in test results or equipment malfunctions. The role functions within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization and works within a flexible environment regarding hours, days, and location. Participation in on-call rotations is required.

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program preferred.
  • 1 year of clinical experience or successful completion of Mount Carmel Electroneurodiagnostic training or an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Program.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
  • CPR certification.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.

*This position will cover all shifts at Mount Carmel Hospitals.
