CNP Tech - Casual / PRN
The CNP Tech I is responsible for independently performing at least one electroneurodiagnostic test modality, including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, and Nerve Conductions, using recommended guidelines established by ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Inc) and AAET (American Association of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists). They are additionally responsible for patient preparation, education, maintenance of labs, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment. They must report suspected abnormalities in test results or equipment malfunctions. The role functions within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization and works within a flexible environment regarding hours, days, and location. Participation in on-call rotations is required.
