Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MLS) to join our microbiology team at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's - Woman's Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science or MLS, with 1 year or more of lab testing experience. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, and ASCP/AMT certification is preferred. The schedule is 1st shift, 7am–3:30pm, with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to criteria.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation for proper function.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and PPE compliance.
