Providence Crisis Stabilization Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring a Mental Health Counselor Masters-level position. The role includes direct client care such as assessment, treatment planning, individual, family, group, and milieu therapy, with education and coordination across health teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or health-related field.
• Preferred: Professional Counselor License (LPC) or Psychological Associate License (LPA) or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
• 2 years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and milieu therapy.
• Coordinate services with other health care professionals and interact with physicians or ARNP responsible for client care.
• Provide client, family, peer and community education.
