Qualifications

• Must meet CACREP core faculty requirements and possess a doctoral degree in counselor education or a related field.
• Demonstrated professional counselor identity with active memberships or credentials and ongoing engagement in counseling.
• Experience with distance or technology-based educational delivery systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employ teaching methods that promote student engagement and align with course objectives.
• Use data sources like student evaluations and surveys to adjust teaching methods.
• Provide meaningful feedback on assignments to help students improve content knowledge and skills.
• Maintain regular availability with at least ten office hours per week (virtual and/or in-person).
• Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours and support student success and resource referrals.
• Stay current in the discipline and maintain licenses/certifications as required.
