Joining the Wallick Senior Living team as the Memory Care Unit Manager (Program Director) is your opportunity to make an impact in the daily lives of our senior residents. This position will lead the Memory Care unit at The Ashford of Beavercreek.

Position Summary: The Program Director manages all daily operations of the property including maintenance, grounds, food service, marketing, leasing, personal care, specialized programming, administrative tasks, housekeeping, and resident relations.

Qualifications Required:

  • Nursing license required.
  • Three or more years of assisted living experience in memory care.
  • Proven success in operations for 3+ years.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:

  • Completion of Residential Care Administrative Course is a plus.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee activities related to providing quality service to residents, including facility maintenance, food service, engaging activities, and nursing staff.
  • Ensure Resident Centered Care is implemented for all residents via personal care plans.
  • Address resident relations issues promptly, maintaining communication with residents and families.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and completion of mandatory staff training.
  • Develop programming for each unit and create a monthly Memory Care Program Calendar addressing social, physical, cognitive, and spiritual needs.
  • Manage annual budget, financial forecasting, and reporting.
  • Maintain community standards and perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: Work performed in an office setting, extensive use of computer, walking, talking, seeing, hearing; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment: Office setting with moderate noise; occasional travel may be required.
