SunState Medical Specialists is seeking a clinical Medical Physicist to join our team overseeing dosimetry and radiation therapy physics across multiple Florida centers. The role involves treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy and HDR brachytherapy, with cross-coverage between Lauderdale Lakes and Coconut Creek locations and occasional travel to nearby clinics.

Ideal candidates have ABR/ABMP/CCPM certification, PhD/masters in Medical Physics, and proven experience with Elekta LINACs

Qualificações

• PhD, DMP, or Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related field.
• ABR/ABMP/CCPM certification required or eligible.
• Proficiency with Elekta LINACs is required.

Responsabilidades

• Calibrate and maintain therapy units and radiation sources.
• Oversee treatment planning for external beam and HDR procedures.
• Develop specialized treatment aids and supervise technologists.
• Maintain records for quality control, calibration and safety.
• Support in-house protocols and clinical trials.
