Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a full-time Clinical Medical Physicist for the Denton, TX clinic at 2600 Scripture Rd, Denton, Texas 76201. The group collaborates with five North Dallas centers and uses Eclipse, Oncentra, ARIA ROIS, and Varian linacs to deliver high-quality radiation therapy.

The ideal candidate will have a CAMPEP Accredited Residency, Texas license or eligibility, ABR certification or eligibility, and preference for 2+ years of certified medical physics experience, with strong

Qualifications

CAMPEP accredited residency in Medical Physics.
Valid Texas Medical Board license or board eligibility.
ABR certification or board eligibility.
Preferred two years of experience as a certified medical physicist.
Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR.
Experience with Eclipse and Oncentra planning systems.
Experience with Varian linacs.

Responsibilities

Work at the Denton, TX clinic and provide coverage to North Dallas POD sites as needed.
Collaborate with the multi-site physics team on plan checks and quality assurance.
Support Eclipse and Oncentra treatment planning and HDR planning.
Participate in SBRT and SRS procedures and associated QA.
